How to hear music ?

HOW DO THE JUDGES, SPECTATORS AND THE FLYER ALL HEAR THE MUSIC IN REAL TIME ?

Use a wireless In-Ear Monitoring System, musicians use this device. It basically consists of two boxes: the transmitter and one or more receivers. The transmitter resides outside the tunnel and is connected to the audio source (music player). It transmits the music to the receivers, where we connect the earphones and wear under the flying suit. (If you want to hear the music in the tunnel speakers, you can use a small table mixer.) The receivers are typically wireless and work on a radio-frequency. The frequency varies from country to country.

Tricks and tips:

  • You could communicate to the flyers from the exterior of the tunnel. For this you will need a table mixer and a microphone.
  • If you have a team and want to train together with the music, you only need to have extra receivers and of course the transmitter.
